Veterans Count
Veterans Count is an independent national accountability platform organised across Australia’s 150 federal electorates. It helps show each federal MP how many people in their electorate are connected to Navy, Army or Air Force, past or present, whether through service, family, caring, support, clinical work or another connection, and which issues need attention.
Your individual input helps build federal electorate-level evidence that can support better decisions and better outcomes.
Founding count now open
Each person contributes individual data. Together, those counts become federal electorate-level evidence that helps show each federal MP how many people in their electorate are connected to Navy, Army or Air Force, past or present, and which issues need attention.

Navy, Army or Air Force, past or present, whether through service, family, caring, support, clinical work or another connection.
Public pages show aggregate federal electorate totals only. Federal MPs see the size of the count, not your identity.

Campaign anthem
Every Count Matters helps the message travel. The song carries the message. The count carries the evidence.
The point
Politicians count votes. Veterans Count helps show each federal MP how many people in their electorate are connected to Navy, Army or Air Force, past or present, whether through service, family, caring, support, clinical work or another connection, and which issues need attention.

Federal Members of the House of Representatives hold primary responsibility for the national issues Veterans Count measures. Structured outreach to state and territory parliamentarians, mayors and councillors is used separately to raise awareness, strengthen understanding and amplify concerns. Those representatives do not control federal policy.
Every federal electorate page includes an email helper for preparing and personalising an email to your federal MP. You send it through your own email account. Sending an email is separate from adding your count.
